Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Local Deals Inc. handles information when the Local Deals Content Network application is used or authorized.
1. Information we process
- Connected account identifiers, usernames, authorization scopes, and encrypted access and refresh tokens.
- Content metadata, publishing settings, upload and moderation status, and public post identifiers.
- Performance data such as views, watch time, completion, engagement, and estimated or actual campaign payout.
- Operational records needed for security, error diagnosis, and reliable automation.
We do not request a social-platform password through the application. Platform authorization occurs through the platform’s official authorization flow.
YouTube API Services and Google account data
The application uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. With your authorization, we access your Google account email and identity to confirm the authorized owner; YouTube channel ID and name; uploaded video IDs, metadata, privacy and processing status; and channel analytics such as views, watch duration, watch percentage, likes, comments, shares and country-level audience totals.
Upload access is used to upload explicitly approved content. Read-only access verifies the authorized channel and video status. Read-only analytics access supports performance measurement and campaign audience eligibility. Google/YouTube account data is not sold or used for unrelated advertising. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. How information is used
Information is used to connect authorized accounts, publish approved content, monitor publishing status, measure performance, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, and comply with platform or campaign requirements.
3. Legal bases and choices
We process information as needed to provide the authorized service, protect legitimate security and operational interests, and comply with legal obligations. A connected account owner can revoke platform authorization through the platform’s settings. For Google/YouTube, open Google Account permissions, select Local Deals Content Network and remove its access. Revocation prevents further authorized API access; it does not itself delete videos already stored on YouTube or all records already held by this application. To request deletion of stored account data, email localdealsinc@gmail.com. You can manage or delete your YouTube videos in YouTube Studio.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers and connected platforms when necessary to operate the application, process authorized publishing actions, maintain infrastructure, or comply with law. We do not invite unrelated collaborators or disclose credentials or tokens.
Session cookies
The OAuth verification demo uses a necessary, short-lived browser session cookie to bind your sign-in to the demo and protect authenticated actions. It is not an advertising cookie. Google, YouTube and hosting providers may process technical information under their own policies when you use their services.
5. Security
Authorization tokens are encrypted and stored separately from public pages. Access to internal dashboards and operational data is restricted. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
6. Retention
Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above, platform requirements, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal obligations. Tokens may be deleted or become unusable when access is revoked or expires.
7. International processing
Connected platforms and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the account owner’s country, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Requests may require identity verification.
9. Children
The application is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone below the minimum age required by a connected platform.
